Qualifications
As a watch and clockmaker I personally believe that you can never have too much training. Every day I work at the bench I learn something new and I can honestly say I haven’t attended a training course, horological or not, that I haven’t found beneficial.
By following a set structure of training and obtaining recognised qualifications it gives the customer the assurance and satisfaction that the person working on their prized possessions is well trained, properly qualified and that the quality of the work being carried out will be to a high standard.
By also being a member of a professional organisation such as the British Watch and Clockmakers Guild they have the added assurance that the person must abide by the organisations rules of conduct.
Below are the qualifications I have achieved to date and some additional information. There is also some information on the professional organisations I belong to.
